Limited Warrenty
Effective Date: April 1, 2009
An interior door is used in an application where the temperature and/or humidity can
be controlled on both sides of the door.
Due to the un-predictability of weather, sun, etc., Exterior Doors are only warranted to be free from manufacturers defects up to the date of delivery. Please inspect all doors for defects upon receipt of your doors.
As Clearwater cannot control the handle or exposure of doors after shipment from our factory/warehouse, the final purchaser must inspect the doors when received. Doors installed more then 3 months from the date of sale from Clearwater are not covered by warranty.
Written notice of any claim, must be submitted within 30 days of discovery of the manufacturing defect. All parties must be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate the reported defect before corrective action is begun, Clearwater will not inspect finished installations for the purpose of certifying if the installation is within warranty.
If Clearwater ascertains the defect is covered by our supplier's or manufacturer's warranty, Clearwater will pass through whatever warranties may be offered by the supplier. Clearwater is not obligated to pay for removal, re-hanging or re-finishing.
